The Marek Fire Devastated This Neighborhood

Early Monday morning, October 13th, the Marek Fire stormed through the Sky Terrace Mobile Home Park.  Residents were given only minutes to evacuate.  Fortunately, all residents were evacuated safely.

Unfortunately, the fire, aided by gusts of Santa Ana winds up to 60 miles per hour, destroyed 40 of the 58 mobile homes in the Park.  40 families lost their homes lost and everything they owned.

The Sky Terrace Fire Victim Relief Fund was established by the Sky Terrace Mobile Home Park's property managment to assist the families of the Park affected by the Marek Fire.  100% of the donations to the Sky Terrace Fire Victim Relief Fund will be distributed to the 58 families who lived in the Park to assist them with their housing and relocation costs, transportation, clothing, meals and all other critical needs while they rebuild their lives.
